It's a great camera. Only thing that bothers me is the weight really.

Congrats, that’s a lot of camera.

Lovely cat :) Shallow dof always seems more pleasing from full frame cameras, probably just a placebo though..

I disagree. I spent 2,5 years working with Phase One digital medium format cameras (twice the size of a "full frame" sensor), and generally, the focus fall-off gets better as the sensor gets larger. Just like you get a larger depth-of-field with smaller sensors like compact cameras and crop-sensors.

I used the Printspace recommendation from this thread, feels very indulgent somehow getting your own photographs printed out.

When I was at trade school for commercial photography we used to print out our assignments on the thick matte A4 stock. It was brilliant.

I've used Print Space, but other than their niche items I didn't find them any better than ProAm, where an 18x12 is £1.25 (not too indulgent)

I've had one that I developed rather than shot but apart from that yeah. Been shooting a few on film too so they will lag behind a bit.

When it first came out I had a D70s and was desperate for one, but could never justify the cost. A full-frame Nikon DSLR has been an ambition for ages.
