  • Hello there

Bought a MIELEC 9 months ago.
Already rode 5,000+ km with it and no issue
    BB was fine
Fork fitted fine (full carbon one, not the Alpina)
Paint is excellent, grainy/sparkly finish, looks really great.

Yeah communication is tedious and all in all it took 8 weeks from 1st message to frame received.

It was all custom as i chose each tube of the frame (triple triangle, chainstay & seatstay)

    Smooth weld, integrated headset

    Total of 230€

I'm even thinking about ordering another one. Been hesitating with DOLAN PRECURSA & LEADER Cure

  • That's probably a little unfair. It's just someones first post.

  • I think that's a positive review of Mielec, not really SPAM.

Prices are good, communication is poor, that's the gist of it.

  • No SPAM in here mate, just honest feedback from a dedicated rider. Check my Strava profile and see for yourself if it's a Spam or not

  • Care to post some pictures?

I've ordered 5 frames in total from Mielec, all in all was alright, with minor exceptions. I don't understand why he doesn't hire some assistant that can speak english.

  • Here's the rear

  • This caught my eye, I was suspecting that Rodagira's frames are built by Mielec, but wasn't sure and they tend to put "columbus tubing" stickers on their frames.

How do you guys know Mielec builds the frames?

  • Pic doesn't show for me

  • 2nd try

  • Aren't you a bit tight with pictures? Post more, I like what I see.
What option of chainstays is that - never seen them before on Mielec.

  • Rectangular chainstay. He has round tubes, oval tubes and round tubes. Of different sizes. I wanted rectangular chainstay like the BMC Trackmachine.

  • How deep are your rims, 60 or 88?

  • Classic 88mm. I had a Sram S80 in the front but had a crash so I'm replacing it with a full carbon 60mm. 88mm for the front is too much. I'm using a Cole 55mm in the meantime

  • Are the sram omniums compadible with mielec frames? Does the gxp bottom bracket fit well?

  • Why not? It's threaded BSA 68 so pretty much anything would fit. I've put the Dura Ace as you can see and the 7710 Octalink BB worked like a charm

  • I think the first batches about 6 years ago did not have the chainstay clearance & Omniums.

I personally added a 2mm spacer to clear a bit more.

I am sure you can ask Mielec to add crank spider clearance by doing a "dent" in the chainstay. (I don't know what the technical name is)

  • Like that? ;)

  • My 2012 Mielec is not crimped:

Me Missus Mielec from 2013 is crimped:

    No problems with Omniums.

  • Okay thanks. This is almost the same build that i'm going for. ALready ordered the frame but it hasn't come yet. Mine is built by the Mash Histogram geo and raw. Adding omniums and carbon fork. Also a wheelset. Atm nologo wheelset but somewhere in the near future h plus son archetypes.

  • near future h plus son archetypes

  • dope ass bike, dude

  • I'll tell the missus, mine is way more shabby...
