Does somebody know exactly the difference between a Launchpad and a Tourboro ?

rear brake bridge is drilled on tour boro - that much I know.
Also launchpad had the og fork.
Tour boro has cable guides for rear brake

Tour boro also has 135mm rear spacing, as it was originally built around an alfine.

Launchpad too I think..

BMW had produced some specific derailleur hanger to run geared the Tourboro

IMO this build sucks, but with a V1 fork and some sexy components it could be sick..

Pretty sure launchpad was still 120 spacing. And came with the cluster fork as standard.

Most Launchpads have 130MM to 135MM rear spacing.

My bike is a 120MM rear spacing.

They released a 130mm version about a year after the frame was launched but it was definitely 120 originally.

For any of you who weren't around back in the early days of BMW...back when even the TMX was a new model...HERE is a little blast from the past for you! :)
It's a shame the videos no longer work as they showed Doc, Joe and the gang launching their 50-70lbs beasts off whatever steps and drops they could find. :)
This was when BMW truly grabbed me by the balls, stole my wallet, marched me to the bank, and forced me to take out a loan! <3

No I posted that one a few pages back. That's the brooklyn riders crew. They have a few on YouTube.
The ones hosted on the site weren't anywhere else.
They were nothing amazing, but back then it was just nice seeing them hooning the bikes off stairs and drops in central park. :)
