Yup, the chain ring guard is original :). It's just that the people who buy this stuff are looking usually for road bike kit to build up a 70's frame.
There was no second gen, Shimano just used numbers, names like Arabesque were made up. I think the rear mech is a black RD 7100.
The front mech again looks like 7100 series, never seen a black one!
All in great condition :)
