ummm what have you got in mind? I’m doing a SSD replacement in a mid-2011 27” tomorrow for shits/giggles. Using one of the OWC/MacSales vids on YouTube?
Mods on an iMac is like mods to a toaster. Your options are pretty limited : )

Have a couple of old 2008/09 imacs so should be able to go 64bit. Use for some general surfing
