I’m going to attempt to “Pro drill” the ends on the next Di2 project I do, still a bit shit having to externally route supposed internal junction though.
Pro/Shimano need to step their game up and bring out some proper internally routable bars like the SuperZero

I might go for this option too. I'm wondering what type bars you're thinking of drilling? Alu Carbon? I think @Señor_Bear had luck with drilling Alu bars.

I have a set of nice carbon superlegera rs bars I'd like to use. Wondering if I could drill a hole in the bottom of the drop just in front of the back of the junction box.
I wonder if drilling carbon at the back of the drops is certain death by structural failure.

I think @Señor_Bear had luck with drilling Alu bars.

I drilled alu bars. Have not died yet in 4 years of abusive riding.

Very end of the drops is a fair way away from any stresses though

I was only going to drill Alu, and right by the bar end, I think @amey posted a video of how it’s done...
