  • To be fair I'd buy an older frame.

Reason for (possible) departure from my old P2 is that the seatpost likes to slip. I've shimmed it with a bit of metal can, but it's slipped again. Now I'm having nightmares it'll happen in a race.

I'll speak to xav and see what he recommends.

Perhaps I should just fix my seatpost with a new one.

My T3 works with lubed screws, carbon paste and torque by the book. I think I roughed up the lacquer with some emery paper too. It's the same post, but mine supports twice your weight. Unless it's the UCI one with the metal infill piece, in which case all bets are off, that was definitely a position adjustment waiting to happen. As @hippy says, if you want belt and braces you can stuff a wooden chock under it.

  • Holy shit, tester agreed with something remotely mechanical I suggested.

Sell your bitcoins!!! The end is... how do you spell nye?

  • Yeah likewise. It's been fine for a year now, but for some reason slipped. I will put it back and it should be fine. I didn't roughen the post before, but I'll do that this time. It's just got me concerned.

I am not putting some wood in the frame @hippy
