When I wanted a steerer shortened and threads extended I was quoted from £15 at one place to +£40 at another.

Not a modern groupset but new finishing kit made my old Lee Cooper feel bang up to date. Shame i don't have a better dialed in photo to prove corrected bar/shifter angles and removed valve caps! I've been looking for something from the early nineties to do a neo-retro build but i'd like something with a bit more stack than the trad square frame geo (normally ride 53/54), any suggestions?

I'm most excited about the bottle cages. I'm getting these treated with a matt black Cerakote - they normally use this to ceramic coat guns.

Yes, I think so but all parts would need be apart. Tricky for things like mechs.

Bottle cages are £8 each to coat.

£8 is a bargain though! This could be the beginning of a plan here! Do you reckon it would wear well on cranks?
