• What rims should I use for touring on a tandem (disc brakes)?
It has to be 26' and 36h, tyres will be around 2' - 2.15'. Candidates are:

    • DT Swiss 545, inner 21mm, single eyelet, 530g
    • Mavic EX729, inner 29mm (!), single eyelet, 675g
    • Ryde Andra CSS (rim brake), inner 19mm, single eyelet, 735g
    • Ryde Sputnik, same as Andra but double eyelet

In an ideal world I'd like the inner width of the Mavic, the finish quality of the DT, and the touring cred of the Ryde. But hey.

Having trouble finding a disc rim with double eyelets, so I'm including rim brakes are on the list. Perhaps good to have more meat in them anyway? Or is that silly?
