i have isobaa, armadillo and rapha. rapha is best by a long chalk imho followed by armadillo. isobaa ok but has been a bit holey. i use them all for allsorts, not just cycling.

If you want the merino baselayer solely as a base layer, go a size smaller. If you want it a bit more versatile / casual, go for your usual size.

Thanks all, very helpful. Sounds like what I'm after, will look too at the Isobaa @dumps - a thicker option will be good to compare.
