  • I’ve replaced the batteries on these but not the circuit.

    If you want to have a go with a multimeter then you need to drive the internals out using a drift.

    Take the screw cap off the rear, then use a socket to apply pressure to the lense cover. Get it right and the internals and battery will slide out of the back of the metal case.

    You can get the batteries from amazon.
