That's one of many problems I will need to overcome if i was to get a Brompton and convert it into fixed =/

The regular Phil track hubs have pretty large spacers. Whether or not they can be removed to get the 110mm spacing remains to be seen.

Brompton website says you can't use the basket with the s bars.. is this the case?

I've got two. I ordered them from Phil Wood on the Phil Wood website and a little later they arrived. Seemed pretty straightforward.

When was this? Did you get stung on import duty?
Been planning on purchasing a replacement fixed/fixed read hub from Phil wood for ages but never get round to it..

It was 2 or 3 years ago. I can't remember specifically, but I'd imagine there were some customs charges and duty to pay, especially as I ordered Phil Wood Brompton front hubs at the same time.

Don’t forget #brexit with the weak pound.

I use both the Basket and TBag on S bar, the basket is fine no issues, the T bag needs the smaller frame or you get the levers caught on the frame and go OTB!

Dynamo options are Shimano, SP, Schmidt or Schmidt XS, I would consider that in reverse order the best options. The Shimano has some serious resistance and I would personally go for the SP because I couldnt afford the Schmidt!

I've got the SP hub, no problems so far and it was easy to build up. One thing to watch out for is that you get the right version, you need the 74mm OLD SV8 model with the 7.9mm axle (the link below shows both types of SV8).
