That's just what I'm after
4 - 65 x 22cm shelves (black)
2 - 90 x 22cm shelves (black)
2 - x-posts with e-tracks attached
4- 90cm cross rails for posts
2 - 65cm cross rails
4 - wall bracketsTo make that set up above with your stuff, but with a desk, I would need
1 x-post
1 E-track
2 wall mounts
1 desk shelf
1 storage cupboard?

Yeah, the storage bit next to the drawers down the bottom is a single shelf (on top) and a normal metal shelf down the bottom. I’d look on eBay for the x-post, e-track and wall brackets as you can get them cheaper than new, and they don’t really get much damage to them as they’re behind.
You only need two cross rails per section, for support, so they’re are actually two extra 90cm ones.

Thought I would give a price now, so it will help with any queries later. The set as is, listed earlier comes to just over £1200. I’ve added the Vitsoe pricing PDF below so you can see the break down. Was looking for £575 ,which would include a 5% forum donation. If you didn’t need the extra two 90cm cross rails, you could sell them on for between £40-£60 on eBay.

OK! Where is the stuff at the moment?

It’s in NW10. I’ve got everything bar the shelves which I’m picking up tomorrow. Can send you the pics Monday. Will be here to the end of January,so anytime before then is cool. Would need to be picked up though, I’ve got the boxes for the shelves but not for the posts, which would probably get damaged if couriered.

That's handy as I'm in W2...

I'm looking for decent quality, wooden, bedroom furniture (bed, bedside cabinets and chest of drawers).
Found plenty of beds but all of the drawers appear to work by just having a channel routed in the side of the drawer and wooden rails for it to slide on, this kind of thing:
The ones I've tried seem to be difficult to close with one hand if you're not pushing exactly straight but it seems to be the standard design.
Any suggestions for bedroom furniture with decent runners?

Just gone through this.
tl;dr:
- Ikea if you won't spend more than £400 on each item, and treat that as disposable
- £400 and up: M&S seem to have the best mid range stuff that might be well made to survive a house move that Ikea stuff will not. Everything else was either to spendy and / or shit, except the Heal's Brunel range.
- £1000 and up - Heals / Ercol but you are in to furniture for life stuff
Unless you are spending £1k and up per item, expect serious compromises.
- the hipster friendly stuff from Made / Swoon is shit. Or rather, given what you are paying, it's not good enough. Draws don't fit, no runners.
- Habitat's stuff is OK but it's only a step up from Ikea unless you buy their spendiest stuff
- Heal's have some nice stuff - the Brunel kit seems well made, but it's quite small. The Fawn chest and wardrobe looks great in the flesh, seems well built and is fairly priced - but it's spendy. I really wanted to love this but it's too flimsy to justify the £700 you'll spend on it.
- West Elm's stuff is similar to Swoon / Made - it's just not good enough, and is pretending to be something it isn't. The industrial stuff it at least honest, but spendy
- John Lewis's stuff is all too flimsy and overpriced IMHO
- Ercol do some wallet friendly stuff. We didn't see it in the flesh, but I'd hope it would be better than the John Lewis stuff. We did see the wallet bashing stuff they do, and it was nicely made and looked great, but priced to match
Ended up buying some stuff from M&S - the Sonoma range seemed to hit the price / quality sweetspot. Proof will be in the eating.
- Ikea if you won't spend more than £400 on each item, and treat that as disposable

Bit of beeswax can do wonders for that ^^

Any one fancy a turn of the century Welsh dresser? circa 1910-15?
Lovely art nouveau leaded milky glass doors. Heavy drop handle.
Moving house soon and need rid. Could help with delivery within a reasonable distance of N41JL.
£150?
Better pictures to follow this was done in a rush.

Cheers for the various suggestions. Some I'd considered but plenty of new options there. I like the look of the Ercol stuff, will have to try and look at it in the flesh.
There is the option of waxing the runners but I'm not that keen on spending decent money on something that I then have to sort out.

Worth adding that in the sales some of the stuff from Hay, Skagarek etc quite good.

We’ve got an Ercol hard-on in our house, one bed, two sofas, chest of drawers and five All Purpose chairs. All made financially possible by living ten miles from the factory (and outlet store ~ Bucks) and waiting for bits to appear half price. Still need two Terramo bedside tables and a Chartreuse AP chair to die happy.
We check this list daily... https://www.ercol.com/en-gb/other-ercol/ercol-factory-outlet/# -

Nothing wrong with keeping plastic covers on your furniture.
There are some design classics, just need to sort the wheat from the chaff.
Our stuff, their pics, must admit it hurts every time the kid/dog whack the chairs into the glass dining table and chip the paint.

Cheers, no bedroom stuff on there at the moment but I'll definitely keep an eye out there.

anyone wants a desk?

The shelves and e-tracks where sold from the Vitsoe listing up top. Thought I would see if anyone was interested in the remaining bits before I posted elsewhere. I have 2 x-posts, 3 90cm cross rails and 4 wall brackets if anyone is interested.

Shoes - my flat is infested with them. Who can recommend a neat looking and efficient unit to corral the buggers?

I'm a size 44, the girlfiend is a 38, and many - mine are mainly running or cycling shoes.

do you actually want them hidden away or just tidy? I just use cheap stackable racks - timber from argos - can also be found in metal, slatted shelves or just rails or fabric/mesh shelves etc from a wide variety of retailers...
Found this image online. This is pretty much exactly how it was set up, the only differences being I had the shelf desk instead of the drawers, and the shelves weren’t as deep. These are the 36cm depth ones. And mine are black.
