MvdP is just trying to ride too many races I think, and maybe overtraining a bit too, in between. Many have asked him if this is a sustainable approach to stay in contention all season, he apparently thinks so and shrugs his shoulders. He's a very stubborn guy that rather hits the wall sometimes instead of listening to (for instance his dad's) advice. Hope he'll be where he needs to be in Valkenburg in January!
