Before the days of google maps I was really happy with my parents Garmin Navigator. I’ve used it a lot in recent years actually before cheap/inclusive roaming data was a thing. You can download the maps for free for Garmins and the touchscreen buttons are pretty big if you go for the widescreen.
I’d recommend one that has the lane layout view as well, that makes a huge difference.
