    But, yes you are correct. There is many solutions for this using lugs. Sam (stayer cycles) and I have been working on a seat tube lug similar to the one Donohue just released, but decided that this solution is more clean when fillet brazing anyways. The problem starts when you start tig welding this joint. I haven't found a solution for that yet.

    Edit: I have thought about leaving it open and let rear cable come out through the hole
