VW parts - who knew? You have to turn up to a branch and pay, collect, in person.

Want to buy some gaskets over the phone for them to post out? Get fucked, they're not doing it.

For VW but not for Volvo or Porsche, oddly, who will both cheerfully take payment over the phone and post the parts to you.

Whatever, it means that I'm not going to buy a VW if I can't buy parts for it.

I actually ordered the VW parts via a Porsche dealer, in the end.

Actually, while I'm here. I got the Audi back from smash repairs yesterday ( got rear ended) the car is a pearlescent blue. I'd imagine tricky to match. They got it 97% right but I can see the difference. Also, the tailgate inside frame is mostly painted apart from the top where it looks like they missed the second coat. Very patchy. And the repair to the floorpan/wheel well has unpainted, raw spot welds where they pulled the metal out. Am I being picky if I want them to finish this off better? You can only see it if you pull the trim off but it seems sloppy.

Without wishing to be vulgar, I wonder how many bones Mr Murray has laid down for that. 35k?
