  • Gabba cat has been really moody recently, not wanting to be fussed or picked up. Comes in for food and to sleep under the table and basically just avoiding us, even here sister is avoid her. Yesterday when I got home she came running over allowed me to give her some fuss when I picked her up so meowed not in her usual way which means it's ok, but as if she was hurt. She seemed ok until I stroked her in between her front paws where I found the cause of the issue a massive squishy lump . No wonder the poor thing is being moody. Can't get to the vets until Monday but have spoken to them, as long as she is eating and showing some kind of interaction they she can wait. Got to keep her in until we see the vets.

Now currently searching Dr Google for clues.

  • Now the question is, will bog roll santa live to see the new year when Fleur the cat next to him!

  • Got a leaflet through the door saying cat killer has killed in the road behind ours :(

Clive and Cleo are very unhappy about not being allowed outside any more :(

  • Happy about the radiator situation though

  • that south london killer from a while back possibly?

  • Yep, according to police/SNARL he’s all over the place now apparently... We’re in Hastings FFS!

  • he loves bit of travelling, doesn't he! God! I wonder if I should keep Patch indoor... we are in camberwell...

    Stay safe with your kitties.

  • Our cats have never been outside since being adopted by us from Celia Hammond, two years ago. There have been 4 cats killed within a 1/2 mile radius of our house in the last 2 years; most recently the local pizza shop cat in October.

They live a very happy life roaming around a decent sized house and don't show any major interest in what's the other side of the windows / doors but it's sad that they can't experience the outside because of some deranged cunt.

  • Happy about the radiator situation though

    Haha, what a great pic!

  • Don't want to think about that horrible person.

How about taking the furballs out on a leash.

    Recommendations for a furball leash.

  • How old are they?

  • I know it works for some cats and we let ours roam the house but they’re desperate to get out and are very vocal about letting us know! We kept them in for a while when we moved here and the difference in temperament after installing a cat flap is pretty incredible. - they’re so much more relaxed.

  • Nearly 4&5 we’ll let them out free in the day tomorrow, they’re quite good at getting out of cat harnesses!

  • Wife made a fancy thing for the bottom of the Christmas tree.

Hendricks: I'll wear it as a dress!

  • How about just day release scheme :)
Make sure they go out hungry tho.

  • The weather is solving that issue at the moment, both of them won't leave the sofa! I need to upgrade our catflap but am baulking at the price of chipreading/smart ones.

  • We had to get a chipped one after a fox entered our house twice, has been fine for 10 years now, I can definitely see why you wouldn't want to get one though.

  • I suppose if it lasts that long it's probably worth it... There is a magnificent fox that visits the garden, biggest I've ever seen!

  • ..haha, love it!
