Anyone have experience with skoda Octavia RS? I'm looking at a 2016 162tsi RS. I don't really want another VAG car but the skoda is meant to be good and way less issues than VW and Audi. It also comes in a real manual.
Basically looking to replace the A3 with something slightly larger and nicer to drive. Practical for the occasional bike in the back and safe for the kids in the back.
Other cars I've tested are a Renault Megane GT and a Peugeot 308... Both of those we're ok, but ultimately bland. The Renault did feel better on road than the pug. I even tested a new Astra because of the 7 year warranty offer. Felt doughy and cheap though. Nothing worse than acres of piano black plastic...
