If I miss a group meeting at job centre as part of my "seeking work commitment" what kind of sanction am I looking at?
Its a low level sanction, first time. A piece of paper I have says its around £11 but I dunno if thats per day or a one hit. Some info online says a 4 week sanction. Is that the whole payment waits 4 weeks??
Obv any info online is deliberately evasive on the matter. -

is it possible to upload pics that are stored on my machine between bits of text:
I went to the zoo
pic1.jpg
I drank a beer
pic2.jpg
The lion was cross
pic3.jpgThat kind of thing.

If you want to host the images on microcosm, then add them as attachments, then edit the post to have them embedded and remove them as attachments. Works for me.

They're hosted elsewhere with a link in the text at the appropriate place, not uploaded to the bottom of the post. You could host elsewhere and do the same or upload them all to another place on the forum and link to them from post you want to make.

They're hosted externally on Flickr.

Does anyone know a source for half decent 3D models of bikes?

It's easy to do it if the pictures are external links, I've never worked out how to do it if you're uploading the images to the forum (which is what I think the OP was asking).

Um!!

You do what I said. You upload as attachments, then use the now hosted files as embedded images in an edit to your original post. If you look at my post the embedded image is hosted on microcosm.

That's quite clever actually...

Cheers, I see now. Although not the most intuitive.
So you have to do your original post and add them as attachments.
Edit your original post, right click on each image to get the image location and paste those in as image links inline in your post and then delete the attachments from your post (as, I assume, LFGSS doesn't delete attachments from the hosting even if you delete them from your post).

You could just upload them all to a thread in the testing area, then link to those.
Whenever I do a big multi photo upload post I make it all work in an old post of mine in this thread and then tinker with it till right. Then copy the whole thing across to where it's needed.

Scale models? Decent ones seem to be surprisingly rare and expensive, but there have been a couple of those monthly collectors' magazines (De Agostini ?) with a different bicycle model each issue; I think you can often find them on ebay. Or http://www.fonderieroger.fr/miniatures/?lang=en for retro-stylee?

3D models of bikes?
For what purpose? Real or virtual?
-
• #87849
For a visualisation. Doesn't matter if they're real models, just need a greater selection than what I currently have. Can any of the bikeCAD sites export in 3D?
Edit: sorry, virtual. My brain used 3D as a synonym for this.

For a visualisation
There are some OK generic bicycle shaped objects on grabcad
Taken under advisement
