May should call Foster’s bluff. Just tell her that’s the deal, take it or leave it, if the latter can we have our £1 billion back, how do you get on with Mr Corbyn btw?

Well. She knows staying in the single market is worth more economically and politically than the power they currently wield in Parliament. And economically, 2£ billion wouldn't even cover the transition period.

May is shit out of leverage.
