Long story short at Uni we had a supply of pheasant and we cooked it everyway possible. Just try something wacky is my advice.

Had a couple of roast pork sangers for breakfast, made my leftover lunch of grilled fish and roasted sweet potatoes seem very dull by comparison... Gf won't eat it so I've got it all to myself over the weekend... Many, many pork belly tacos will be consumed in the next 48hrs...

Have been upstairs at the roebuck for my other halves best friends birthday bash and put down £12.50 on a house made pork and barley sausage, puy lentil cassoulet. See pictures attached for the size, and I'm so fucked off. It was salty as fuck! Tiny for a main and coast me north of a tenner. Now I know I'm in borough/elephant and castle but come the fuck on!!!
I disliked the roebuck already after overcharging me for a pint of black currant and soda water way back when, but now I'm hating with a passion...

But I feel you’re pain - pub grub should be simple, honest and properly priced. Guess when pints are costing close to £6 then it’s fair game to price up the food

Realised as it arrived that I was starving hungry. But put the phone in for size reference. I would not have been surprised if it was the portion for a child!
And for £12.50 they can get bent about seeing my custom again..
I made a similar 'mistake' recently.
Would recommend making the same mistake again...
