Or dilute it less than the recommendation. I love getting a clean windscreen, OCD love at the push of a button

White vinegar or meths or IPA/rubbing alcohol added to the water can help.
I just clean the screen with meths and wash the wipers too. But have shit wipers that were replaced and are crap. Also drop a little lube on the wiper pins so the wipers have free movement to apply pressure to the wiper on the screen.

yep i do regular checks, my car also has a warning light when running low on windscreen fluid.
roads round here have been filthy and been getting through a lot of fluid recently - compounded by the previous lot (not the BP one) being shit and leaving lots of smears on the windscreen
