• Hi all, thought I would see what advice is out there... Looking to get some new wheels built up.

    Current thoughts for hubs are:

    Hope RS4s
    Tube mig mags
    White industries T11

Anyone got any experience of the above? Are Tune/White Industries worth the extra money? Should I just break down my tubs and re-use my Mack hubs?

    Thanks

  • I've got Tune Mig/Mags on two sets of wheels. I'm impressed with them so far. Very light, and they seem pretty durable. I've used them to replace Zipp's useless hubs on a pair of Firecrest 404s.

  • I have a set of Tune MIG and MAG hubs in use since 2012, once on my old cyclocrosser, and now on a newer cyclocrosser. I only have one bike, and got many kilometers on it. City, backcountry, and some little experience with off-road in the woods. Knowing these are road hubs I had some problems, but customer service and repair service was great. Here are some pics:

This problem was kind of scary, Tune told me that this was a problem with older hub versions and should be solved in all new versions:

Next problem appeared before I switched to new wider DT Swiss rims, I saw that there was a crack in the rear hub. They replaced it for the cost of shipping and made a service, this was €24,90.
