Leave it connected to the Volvo with the Volvo running at a fast idle for 10 minutes or so to get a bit of power across.
Or just plug the charger into the electric point in your garage. Oh no wait... sorry.
I had my Porsche on a solar battery topper-upper most of the time. It needed it.
The DB9 gets a proper plug-in job.
