I think £3000 is probably the average spend of the builds, having seen them. With some smart shopping it can be far cheaper, with moneygun.gif it can be whatever you want it to be. I think a few will have nudged 6k.

Thanks. I'm aware it was a wide open question. I had a figure for the low end of £2500 in my head so I guess a wasn't too far out.

My shopping list includes:

Ultegra R8000 (maybe di2 or maybe cable shift)
35mm crabons
SON 28 dyno hub
SON lights
Swarf guards

Looks like rather a lot of £. Maybe I'll go Sora.

I was generally told to plan on the following cost split
1/4 frame
1/4 wheels
1/4 groupset
1/4 fork and finishing kit

I don't see why the cost of one element would dictate the cost of another?

It was just to give an approximate order of magnitude to help avoid putting Chris King headset and carbon wheels on a Create fixeh biek.

My wheels were not nearly that much - Chinese carbon rims, hope hubs and reasonable spokes.

they are great wheels! Really enjoying mine.

It's on the flyer. He was pointing out the typo. Which is my fault.
Though it's the least of the issues with the ad really...

It's RSVP to get an idea of numbers mainly. Plus presumably fire regulations/health&safety gone mad mean that at some point people will have to stand out side in mid-December if it gets too full.

If they're designers I doubt the typo will be the first thing they worry about ;)
