Also, I tried to hold a 2" kojak of the GF biek in the fork. It's ok (skinny rims)

hate off road
Weirdo

Wtb resolute 650b X 42 might solve this for you?
Knobbly, nice looking gumwall tyres.
Failing that, Surly knard 650x41.

Don’t forget G-One at 40mm.

Pretty sure I'm gonna flog the Arkose and just get a new rigid mtb in the Spring.
-
• #311
Very interested if you do!
-
• #312
Think pinnacle do some decent rigid mtbs
-
• #314
Pic of the fork clearance? Im now wondering what I'll be able to fit in my fork, having already bought 650b rims
-
• #315
What fork? Arkose? Don't think you'd get much more than 45mm wide on 650b rims.
-
• #316
No just wanted to see the shape of your fork. I always assumed forks were pretty safe for 650b conversion. Mine is a Columbus Mud Disc
-
• #317
Yeah do that. I rode mtb today for the first time in 5 months and its as fun as it always has been.

I'll be living 3 miles from the South Downs Way so rude not to really.
-
• #319
Well it's sold. So long sweet prince.
Want a Genesis Fortitude Race, so if anyone sees an 20.5" (other than the two on Pinkbike) hit me up.

Pinkbike
The one for £550 looks like a very good deal
-
• #321
Bristol or Cannock though?
-
• #322
Bristol, but why not buy this and a set of Chinese carbon forks:
-
• #323
High Latitude is more long fork oriented no? I fancy something rigid specific and racey.
-
• #324
Run a 29er fork with a bigger A-C?
-
• #325
But then it's going to be slack and short stem oriented. My list is basically a Singular Swift or a Genesis Fortitude at the moment.
If you go for new fork, I'd potentially be interested in the pinnacle one for no reason other than neater cables :)
