    New fork, or new frameset? Inclined to do a more rigid MTB kinda build now but rigid 650b frames don't seem to exist so that means 29er... which is getting some way away from the original brief.

    Knobbly, nice looking gumwall tyres.

    Failing that, Surly knard 650x41.
