Yes. Last year's model is a good hit IME, throughout bike buying generally.

Last year model are slightly more reliable with the older shifter (as we have been getting some 3 speed shifters that no longer functions).

Also 2018 model now have a one piece brakes as oppose to cartridge, which is a mite annoying but they claim new pads offer less wear on rims.
