Quite how will be interesting though. I'll put my money on parachute failure. It took a long time and a lot of mistakes before deploying parachutes on re-entry vehicles became reliable.

I think he's only planning to go a mile up so i'm not sure you could class it as 're-entry'.

Not sure what proof he expects to get from a mile up that a weather balloon and a go pro can't give you
