Could be that everyone was wax lyricaling it all summer, before it start to get wet and cold.
I had some strange cornering on my loup loup pass and a reduction in tyre pressure has helped.
but how/why??
tire probably wasn't seated on the rim properly and the high pressure wasn't allowing to get back into place. Drop it a bit and the rim snapped back on?
Increase contact point, less vibration causing the tyres to skip on loose surface etc.
