TCR04 was ~4000k w/ ~50,000m climbing IIRC.

The TCR crew made an announcement op FB today:

This year, after the death of our Director and friend Mike Hall, the Hall family and the race organisers were committed to ensuring the fifth edition of the race was the success Mike planned for. Despite the tragedy of Frank's death we believe it was a success. The race is only as good as it's racers and team of committed volunteers and everybody involved can be rightly proud of their achievements.

Currently we, the family and the race organisation team, are actively working together to ensure a sustainable future for the Transcontinental Race. Please bear with us, rider registration for TCRNo6 is being inevitably delayed.

Had Caroline Item back in the shop last week, says she's just about ready to do more riding. She's seen some of the super cold stuff that people have done and is looking at similar. She's lovely but entirely mental.

It was already known as there were provisional results a few weeks ago.

Matthew Falconer stepped up a couple of positions, to 5th, as Nelson and Rory got penalties for something.

I think it seemed like there was loads of really fast riders there this year. More than last year.

And I'll need to stop being slow at the start of a race. Or pick longer races to have time to compensate.
