I don't think that this is true.
I'm pretty sure the classic P3 is longer and lower than the skinny's classic p2. The new P2 and P3 are both the same geometry and I believe that they are taller and shorter than either of their "classic" variants.

Good point well made. It's the P4 which got the proper P3 geometry. Since the P4 is as discontinued as the proper P3, if @skinny wants long and low he'll have to man up and get a T4 🙂

P2 and P3 have always been exactly the same geometry as one another (in fact, the current P2 and P3 are the same frame with different forks), the change is between first generation frames and the 2013+ versions.
