GF wants to buy into mortgage/flat so now feels like a good time to pay to extend as long as the financial payments aren't too onerous...
Probably going to be here for the next 5-10yrs, but want to be able to sell quickly if we want to purchase more house based space due to brexit bringing up properties which pre brexit might have been out of reach..
Found the original lease that my mum hand when she brought the flat back in 1990! 125 year lease, pretty sure I didn't extend it when I brought it but am going to do land registry to see if I did and forgot.
So if I didn't extend, currently have 98 years left. Will extend back to 125 as we'll be looking to sell at some point in time brexit allowing..
