pressure test
Thanks for that, will ask them on Monday. Volvo have been less than pleasant so far, front desk woman who I spoke to first was completely clueless and the rough voiced mechanic guy who rang me back was rude and trés nonchalant... Would be nice to tell them to fuck themselves with an irregularly shaped object but if they start playing along it could save me about £1k so worth a few more attempts I suppose.

Should be easy to to tell if the hydralics have failed. They would need to do a pressure test.
