For road use I'm only really interested in beam length and throw in comparison to other lights, I'm not sure the low-speed mode is of any use until it comes to MTB stuff then I reckon it'd be dead useful.
Sinewave say the light can be mounted upsidedown as it's round and symmetrical, so I think you'd have to point it quite low to avoid frying the eyes of oncoming drivers.
I suppose as you'd want it mounted on the handlebars anyway, you could swivel it up or down as necessary.
MTB-specific, same as the E3 Triple then. I still want to try out one of the IQ-Xs to see if the lower power is compensated for by being able to aim it higher. It would help if I had a bike to test this though...
