  • Just had some Beacons hand delivered by David from Sinewave. He just explained to me that you should only be running the light and battery pack in circuit if you are running the light on the low setting, so about 150 lumens vs 600.

  • For road use I'm only really interested in beam length and throw in comparison to other lights, I'm not sure the low-speed mode is of any use until it comes to MTB stuff then I reckon it'd be dead useful.

  • Sinewave say the light can be mounted upsidedown as it's round and symmetrical, so I think you'd have to point it quite low to avoid frying the eyes of oncoming drivers.

    I suppose as you'd want it mounted on the handlebars anyway, you could swivel it up or down as necessary.
