Ffs. Car depreciation for me atm. My fucked clutch may of course not be covered by insurance after all. Hydraulic bits are, but flywheel and pressure plate etc are not. And there's apparently no way of knowing what the issue is before they've torn the gearbox out at which point I'll know if this'll cost me £200 or £1500. Can't decide whether to take the gamble or to get the clutch replaced at a local independent garage for £900 and be done with it... Gaah!
