Singer is like the illegitimate offspring of an affair between the Fast and the Furious and a Herschel heritage backpack.

The Minor is major win!

not my car
Phew.
It's horrid.
What's going on with the roof line and the scuttle? Is it actually even a 911?

The automotive equivalent of "new age fun with a vintage feel", perhaps

Nice.
Once he started it was actually quite quick.
The work I mean, not the car.
It's a good time of year for one, the 1000 I had would go sideways surprisingly well in the cold and wet.

Nail. On. Head.

That's true. It was a long wait overall, but the actual work didn't take that long. Just as well really, because time is money and it was expensive enough as it was.
Given the spindly width of the tyres I'd imagine sideways action will be easy to come by. Especially with an Ivor Searle engine.

How close to the cost of the RS6 did the resto work come?

Absolute beauty!
Perfect time to pick up a classic car, as the UK descends into a wet and grimey sludge for the next 4 months.
Can't you insure her as the main driver?

You appear to be labouring under the misapprehension that the restoration costs of the Minor were less than the cost of buying the RS6.

Can't you insure her as the main driver?
Nope, not an option either. Apparently, if you're a filthy foreigner no UK insurance company will insure you. Sign o' the times, innit.

British cars for british workers!

Yeah they will, but load the premium 100%...

I disagree with long restoration.
Also give EON a bell also see if the minor club have a preferred insurer.

:-( FFS that's extremely terrible

My friend has hooked me up with a guy who apparently knows what he's doing at Kwik Fit in Kingston. He's going to put it up on the lift and spend the extra time working out what's wrong.

Wonky Prendeville stickers that will prolly fuck the matte paint up when removed are an interesting sales tactic....
Lovely.
