The LTE Apple Watch only works on EE in the UK, according to this:

The non-LTE version allows you to answer calls as long as you have your phone with you or on the same wi-fi network as the watch.
Go and try one on before you buy to see which size looks best on your wrist.
Thanks. So the cellular watch won't work with my provider but I can answer calls if I have wifi and have my phone with me - am I being stupid, but why would I not use my phone to answer the call?
