The frame was built for a cable operated front derailleur controlled from the right side (double pulley wheel on top of BB shell, Simplex braze-on for shifter on DT). This was pretty high tech in '52 and racers stuck with rod op front derailleurs for a while so there arent many around.
Frame also has a rear Simplex hanger so after some research I realised I needed a Juy 51, a Juy 53 (unobtainable) and a Simplex double shifter.
