It's a bit of a nightmare tbh.

I want to keep the thin finish and low key paint.
There aren't too many places that can do the box lining. Bob Jackson can but they told me;
'We cannot and will not try to make the paint work look old and thin. This will be a high gloss finish to a high standard, Why would you not want it looking good?? If you want it looking older with thin clear coat etc keep it as it is.'
So after finding £250 to get it painted
😬😖 I'm going to build it up and ride it on dry days wearing a wool jersey with front pockets.
I've been collecting parts for it since before they were worth stupid money. I'm actually unsure how cool it is to use that front derailleur (not because it's worth crazy dolly but because there aren't many surviving)
