so in the end all thats bonding the steel and the carbon is the thickness of the carbon tube and some wraps of carbon?
i´m all for supporting crazyness, but if this ^ is indeed the case, it sounds really, really dangerous and i´ld check my dental insurance coverage before setting off and riding it..!

Naaaah I ground the lug all off. There was lots of sparks and it looked pretty cool.
I wanted to seat the tube over it, but I got the wrong size. So just mitred and carbon wrapped
