I mixed up a load of carbon dust with epoxy and filled in the crack
Apparently, superglue (needs to be a one made with cyanoacrylate) and baking soda is used to repair chips in carbon fibre helicopter blades.
Sprinkling the soda on the glue causes is to go off instantly. Repeat glue/soda to build up layers and sand back.
