When people close their eyes when speaking, thinking it somehow emphasizes words or a point.
It as bad as the 'everything-is-a-question-end-of-sentence-inflection' that everyone adopts at around 16...

There's more than one? My personal YT ad algorithm seems to be stuck on
"[Grin, odd wave] Hi, I'm Karlie Kloss."
"[Grin, odd wave] Hi, I'm Karlie Kloss."

Did you try and scare him by wearing the shirt?

Oh you lucky, lucky person. It's horrible - I'm trying to brush up on my Adobe After effects skills and watching a lot of tutorial videos, so I'm having to watch this shit over and over and over, like some sort of dante's inferno for millennials.

When people deem it necessary to tell you that your reasoning or that fact that you are not going out or drinking meets their satisfaction.
And when you have to have the same conversion about why you don't drink before and after the asker is drunk, for which the latter is far less bearable.

(a bit of an unrelated question but)
I take it you're now in uni(?), which one are you at? -

Fisher Price 'my little burger stand' tv ad. Preparing your children for a career in the UK's service sector. wtf.

-
• #8969
No way man. It’s at least 2km from town to Waitrose.
-
• #8970
Gosh, who do you think I am shopping at Waitrose as a student! M&S is in the city centre innit... ;)

I hate switching off the lights at bedtime and then stubbing my big toe on an immovable door stop, crushing the yelp of pain to avoid attention, lieing about why I took so long in the bathroom (dressing a big toe nail that had lifted from it's bed) and trying to get to sleep through a throbbing ache spreading through my foot.

BITD I used to collect the 10ps out of the phone boxes round Caius and take them to the bank.
I somehow doubt that’s a job that still needs doing, students probably all have their own portable phones now.
It's the day you remember family members who have died... In Spain anyway, still a catholic festival type thing... Or in my parents' case it's Halloween every fucking day, their entire social life is based around going to funerals/memorial services, it's a latin thing...
