Any thing unusual with the chassis? Or should the be how rotten?
Have used boat repairs before to repair fibreglass as they seem to deal with it on a more regular basis.

More on this. Of interest to a few.
Separation complete. You can see that the paint is in pretty wank condition. Next is a strip, patch any holes and cracks in the fiberglass.
