Can I use a saddle with oval rails? Do I need a different clamp?

Depends what clamp you are using at the moment.

If you're using Bromptons pentaclip clamp it should be fine.

hmmm using the pentaclip clamp but it doesn't look like it fits to me, seems to be squishing the rail.
