Feedback from a friend who works at BMW:
The retail price for that car comes in at £7,225 – that’s the expected retail price a car dealer would expect to sell out at. An Approved Used BMW dealer would be expected to sell out at ~£1500 more to account for official pre-sales checks, warranties etc.
Therefore, the private value of £9,995 is as I suspected high for that car, considering no inspection or warranty.
