No real update yet, its sitting in my spare room collecting surface corrision :-(

Plus I have recently puchased an Alu/Carbon Coppi frame :-)

I need to get off my arse and get this posted to Bob Jackson.

Ha, got the same stem from them. The plastic bit is slightly irritating but otherwise no issues.

The Condor has left the nest, off getting a B'Job.

Wheelset options:-

Hope pro 3's or a set of Campagnolo Khamsin/Zonda. It's a shame Campagnolo don't really do winter/touring wheelset.

Hunt are coming out with shiny shiny wheels. Just saying.

Hunts are great but I don't think these will be suitable, plus a waiting list, really.....

I think I will go for Khamsin, great reviews and great price.

I rode down to Bognor the other weekend in the company of a guy on a purple condor like this one. Very classy. I look forward to seeing how it looks when it comes back from bj.

Picked up a nice set of Veloce 10spd on Fir rims this morning in Brizzie. These should do the job nicely, whilst keeping the coin down.

Have you got the frame back yet?
I’ve a 1953 frame I need painting and Bobs prices seem much more palletable.

is the condor a 68mm british BB shell?
I am currently stripping my Rob Telfer and want to fit a modern groupset to it, I am at a quandary as to what bearings I needs to fit to allow for the fitment of a modern crankset :)

Whats wrong with power torque? Genuinely interested to hear. Just got a campag set and I'm basically a total novice with bikes with gears.

Nothing is wrong with Power-Torque when installed. Once you want to service your BB or remove the cranks, it’s a complete pigs ear of a job. Most unfriendly bike fit system going....

didn't they modify it so you don't need the expensive tool anymore?
