Used to use copper grease, but after talking with a lubricant specialist OE they use ceramic grease. It is non sticky so doesn't attack dirt and create a grinding paste. Used alot with cycles and carries a premium. 600g tub should be around a tenner. Or wait till euro car parts has a decent percentage off and 100g tube is around 2.5

Thanks, new tyres are the next job!
The calipers have been powder coated and any mating surfaces masked/cleaned off. I've not used grease on the pins as the workshop manual didn't call for it. Would you/do you normally grease your caliper pins?
